If you have facial eczema mirrors are the enemy. Even reflective windows can show up your rosy visage in all it?s vivid horror. People with eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis have bad skin days AND bad hair days. Imagine that!
Sometimes though it?s good to remember the times between the eczema and that it never looks as bad as you think it feels or seems in your head. Mirrors are not all bad.
This is a short poem that I wrote on a bad skin day about eczema and mirrors.
I never look into the mirror
In case of what I might see.
I?m always pointing the camera
So it?s never looking at me.
If I do spot my reflection
in a shop window on passing.
Sometimes I?m surprised to see
A prettier woman looking back at me.

Watch out for mirrors and clean windows!
